Role
Illustration + Character Design + Art Direction
I was approached by the amazing team at Shortfuse to create illustrations for the "Don't Bite the Bait" campaign by ASF – the Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority.

Since older adults often deal with lower financial and digital literacy, plus social isolation, they face bigger risks. That’s why we have to make sure the information is super clear and totally accessible.

As always, Shortfuse did an incredible job bringing my illustrations to life. You can check out the video at ASF youtube.
The Challenge
To design visuals that educate seniors how to spot fraud, encourage them to take simple preventive measures, and alert them about the best practices when using digital platforms.
The Solution
I created illustrated scenes based on four simple everyday examples to break down the information so viewers can quickly spot risks and learn safe habits.
Deliverables
~ Full visual development from initial concept to final illustrations
~ Original character and environment designs
~ Storyboard + Styleboard
~ Illustration files prepared and optimized for animation
Visual Approach
The illustrations were needed to be super clear and engaging, so I went with a clean and approachable style.

The characters and scenarios had to be expressive and relatable, it’s crucial viewers see themselves in those situations. I chose a warm and friendly colour palette to keep the whole visual style welcoming.
To make sure the safety messages hit home, simple visual cues, contrast and color are used to keep the focus where it needs to be. Explaining each step clearly, making the safety messages intuitive and effortless to learn, and ultimately helping seniors feel confident navigating digital stuff safely.
The Result
